Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
The medalion with the engraving was actually smaller than I anticipated. On the upside, it is designed so the ribbon color can be changed easily. I also like the idea that the medalion will make a nice keepsake that could be transferred to another candle or easily placed in a scrapbook. I think a better quality medalion could be crafted at a local keepsake store for a similar cost.
