This exquisite etched glass vase, when filled with water and topped with a lit votive is a spectacular sight. It makes a beautiful unity candle for the ceremony and the best part is that you can use it again and again afterwards -- as a floating candle, bud vase or simply a keepsake of your union. My fiance and I were struggling to find a unity candle for our ceremony. We are having a more casual wedding, but we still like some parts of tradition. We didn't like the "sand ceremony" idea and no candles were really standing out for us. Then, we ran across this design and it was perfect!! This is unique, beautiful, practical....everything we wanted. And after the ceremony, this will hold my boquet on the head table, and any flowers in the future. We are very happy with this purchase!! The only critique would be I might get a different floating candle and make sure to pre-light the candle so no one douses the wick in water when we are trying to light it.

We were so excited to see this beautiful and unique unity candle. It was much more than expected, and was purchased on sale! The engraving makes it very special. To be used as a vase for many years after the wedding is a brilliant idea! There will always be a beautiful vase for the hubby to bring home flowers!

This is SO cute once you get it...I wanted something that i could use over and over again...honestly, what are you going to do with an actual unity candle once the wedding is over? It will collect dust and thats about it, we are going to put colored water in it and after the wedding it will hold momentos from the reception.probably the flower petals from my bouquet. this vase/ unity candle is very heavy and constructed well..and it comes with the candle too. i love it!

I was really excited when I found this unity candle. It is very beautiful. It can be used in many ways; with the floating candle it comes with, a sand ceremony (you'd need to purchase the sand), or even use a smaller pillar candle inside to stay more traditional. I love that we can use it as a vase afterward and can display it for years to come after our wedding. It is taller than I expected, but still a great size.
